'The only issue I had was minutes after I checked into our room, I started sneezing and smelling like there was mold. It is carpeted. The patio seemed scary to walk on to and run down. The patio door was difficult to open as I have back issues. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was good, but only have 4 tables. '

'This is a quaint, homey family owned and operated (from what I could tell) motel. It is old, probably from the 60s, but very clean. The curtains looked like they had been carefully sewn most likely by the owner, and installed with nice pull backs. The tile in the bathroom was nicely installed, and the bathroom was very roomy. The sink had some cracks in it, and the toilet seat was worn, but everything was sparkling clean, and smelled clean. The grounds were thoughtfully groomed, and there...

'This was my third stay at the Silver Surf motel, I just love it! My two kids and I have been meeting up with my mom and aunt every year in adjoining rooms. It's very rustic, so if your looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a rustic, take cozy place to call home right on the beach, look no further!

'Excellent location. Right on the beach and there’s a nice ocean front gravel trail that goes around the rocky area and connects back to the sandy beach when it resumes. Property is well maintained.
My only complaint was the mattress. It was ok but uneven. Either older or never rotated. But still reasonably comfortable. '
