'We loved the look of the property and the rooms. There was a lot of character in the rooms, decorated with furniture from the colonial time period, yet up to date in modern conveniences. We stayed in the king suite in the Chamberline House. It was like our own apartment. Restaurants on site were good and the breakfast provided by the bake shop was a nice treat. 'We requested a room with handicap access. What we got was anything but. The room was at the end of a very long hallway, a distance that was nearly impossible for the handicapped individual.'

'Expedia needs to update this properties availability. There is NO RESTAURANT, BAR OR BUFFETT BREAKFAST on site. The inside smells stale. The rooms with a balcony are in the facility! You have to request a outdoor balcony. The facility needs a lot of TLC! The outside needs TLC. The grassy area is half grass half dirt with weeds. The building needs a desperate re-paint. There is no help available with your luggage. The beach is approximately 50×50ft. No water tours or boats. The lake is beautiful...

'Don't miss this lodge hidden in the green hillside near Sturbridge. Nice quiet location, and a neat 2nd storey veranda in Bldg 2 one can access from the upper lot to slow and and chill out. Very reasonable, and fairly priced Thank you.'

'We were here just for the night and we enjoyed our stay, Friendly man at the reception. Large room with a king bed. All the things you need when you're traveling. The room was clean. In the morning they offered a modest breakfast, but enough to start the day.'

'Our room (202) was not cleaned well at all prior to our arrival. There was leftover food from the last guest in the microwave, the last guest left their gym shorts in a drawer and a blanket in the closet. The pullout couch didn’t have a sheet. The skirting for the bed was ripped as well. There was maybe 1 staff onsite. The breakfast option was cereal with maybe an 1/8th of a gallon of milk in a mini fridge. I would not recommend staying here.'

'Very good stay, excellent clean room, very good breakfast, really nice lobby/breakfast room and halls. Very quiet. The desk needs to be manned more consistently. Each time I went to the desk, it took a few minutes for someone in the back room to notice I was there - they were otherwise very helpful.'
