Blokhutten in Central Alberta

'Staff were great. Could maybe had more heat in the cabin due to -20 degree weather. The only heat source we could see was the gas fireplace. It got very cold in the cabin at night as we did not want to keep the fireplace on high during the night. It would also be something for you to consider to put outside plug-ins for vehicles. We had to run an extension cord through the front door and plug into one of the outlets inside the cabin'

'The cabin is rustic cozy. The location is perfect, just an hour and half away from Edmonton. No need to drive too far to experience this treasure! '

'Cute little cabin in East Jasper! Felt like getting away from it all, yet there are two restaurants nearby.Hope to stay again on our next adventure in the Canadian Rocky Mountains!!'

'Inside was very clean and comfortable. Outside yard needs some loving, but to be fair, we were there early in the season so perhaps the host hasn’t been able to get everything cleaned up yet. But still the yard is nice and peaceful.still enjoyed it. Great location!'

'The place is very clean and beautiful, the owners are very friendly. However there is not much to do , no free TV if you are traveling with kids, no shower , so staying more than one day is not possible , no filtered water . Very pricy for having no amenities at all and pretty much nothing to do . Otherwise it is clean and beautiful, cozy too since they have heater and air conditioning.'

'The chalet was very clean. Parking is convenient. The staff were all super nice and handled all questions. We enjoyed our stay.'

'The cabin was very nice and a good location but was short on kitchen supplies. . There were no large plates to put things on, we had a group of 8 people with just 8 plates and bowls, no extras to use for other things, no extra cups and very limited glasses. Only one cookie sheet and mixing bowls and no storage containers. We had just come from a different place we rented in Golden which was much better equipped.'
