'Beautiful property in a great location! '

'Nice property and suite but check-in was 1.5 later than posted on Expedia. According to property, Check-in is at 4 pm and not guaranteed until 6 pm. Expedia did not add that info on their listing of the property - only that check-in was at 4 pm. We got there at 4:00 and our suite wasn’t ready until 5:30 pm.'

'Really nice location on the river, and a terrific breakfast place across the road, McKays. Hotel itself was in good shape, but never saw a maid. Room had a hand towel, washcloth and one bath towel. When I went to the desk the clerk apologized and said "Here is what I have", which was a bath towel and a couple pool towels. Next day maid never came to replenish towels. Table lamp between beds was not working. AC fan rattled. I get the impression owners arent staffing or putting money into...

'We had one weird experience with the smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night but staff was great and took care of everything right away. The second night was perfect and the location can’t be beat. '

'Clean, bucolic and quiet. This was in august but one wonders about the demeanor of the winter ski crowd. Paying a nominal resort fee when we only used the room to sleep seemed somewhat over the top I give it a 4.0 rating.'
