« What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. »

« Friendly helpful staff. Clean, tidy and spacious rooms. Across the road from the club which was an added bonus for dinner. Great amenities and loved that you can order breakfast to your room, (not many motels do this anymore). If we're ever in Young again, I would definitely stay here again! »

« Needs a refurb. Toilet kept running and not flushing, noisy fans. Carpets need a good deep clean. Noisy room even when windows are closed of an evening. The car parking was secured which was good but I don't feel the price was worth it. Not really a "grand" standard. »

« TV and remote old and had to contact staff to get it to work. Opened the freezer in the fridge on arrival and water spilled out onto the carpet which was very wet the whole time. The toilet brush was absolutely disgusting. »
