« North is always excellent. From the moment you step out of the car under the heated entry (it’s winter) and in to the stunning two story vaulted lobby with its massive stone fireplace and comfortable seating areas. Check in was quick and easy. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean. North has arguably the nicest hotel bathrooms in the area. « The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet! The staff were all very friendly, polite and very helpful. We travel to Detroit Lakes a lot and we love to stay at the Fairview whenever we can. It’s right across from one of the lakes there and there are several restaurants within walking distance. »
