'Unless you can sleep with tractor trailers driving by within 20 feet of you all night, do not stay here. Even with loud white noise and pillows over our heads, we slept a few hours at best. Add to that a terrible mattress, bad pillows, and a missing smoke alarm and this rates as one of the worst places we have ever stayed. Yes it was clean and yes there was hot water but if you are looking for actual sleep, do not stay here.'

'This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!'

'Loved everything about this place! It was so beautiful and luxurious, but really comfortable and relaxing… not pretentious at all! We had cocktails in the speak easy, which was such a fun surprise! Jeremy was the best mixologist and was full of interesting facts about the history of the property .Then dinner in the restaurant… delicious. Our server, Teddy, was the best. The rooms were fantastic! Every detail well thought out… even a steamer for your clothes! Can’t say enough good things about...
