Perfect for one night or two with fast check-in at shop under Hotel. Good quality, clean and really close to ferry arrivals and restaurants! Top roof-top!
The Caye Caulker Beach Hotel is a budget-friendly place to stay. Having a room with the small balcony would be best.
Pros:
Well maintained building
Clean
Roof top patio
Centrally located
Convenience store located on ground floor
Cons:
Single room very small (bed, fridge, shelf & tv. no window nor balcony)
Not mobility friendly (50 steps to the 4th floor)
English is second language for staff so communication awkward at times.
It is a decent, inexpensive place to stay just don't expect any frills.
Centrally located, easy to walk anywhere on the island. Room was simple and a little small; comfortable queen bed, bathroom sink shower, nothing fancy. Simple place to rest and sleep after island adventures. Small fridge, no microwave:(, however there is a rooftop âkitchenâ that is also simple, but open for guest use. Yes I would stay here again.
When we got to the property, we arrived earlier and check if early check in was available but couldnât, first staff member wasnât too friendly but let us store our luggage while we wait for check in time, second staff member was a young lady who was more approachable and gave us a little more information about the surroundings. Most of her recommendations were great.
This room was very tiny. It barely fit a full size bed in the room. There was enough room to walk but not really to lay out our suitcase when unpacking and packing up. The bathroom area was spacious with a big shower and sink area. The water pressure was great and provided nice hot water each time. The room had a great working AC device which kept us cool during the days. There is a nice rooftop area where you can relax on. There is a convenience store below which was nice to grab snack and water when needed. I thought the room was kinda expensive for what we got but it is conveniently located near the water taxi station and near everything so that was great.
Great location and great view from there roof top terrace.the house keeper was always there for whatever you needed for your room. Also the front desk was real helpful in working with me in extending my stay at there hotel.
The linens on the beds looked dirty, because they were white and stained. The hotel didn't offer filtered water to the guests. That was very off putting. The convenience store below is part of the hotel, so you could buy the filtered water, but for 70.00 US a night, I felt filtered water should have been offered by the hotel. The lady who cleaned the rooms for them was very nice.
