Disappointed

Good air conditioning, nice and quiet, chocolates a nice touch! Outdoor lighting did not work Kitchen very poorly appointed Generally not clean-floors, old socks under bed Ensuite bathroom shower drain plugged-had to shower in 3 inches of water......I cleansed with Draino No dressers, couldn't unpack Dingy and dusty.....photographs misleading Had to purchase dish soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags. No recycle Sheets did not fit bed.

PS Stay

Everytime I come to PS I always stay in the condos located inside the Desert Princess Golf Resort. This was my first time in this condo but, was perfect & very nice stay! My guest contact Ana Gonzalez prior to the reservation was great! THANK YOU for a wonderful stay!

Worst rental of all time

The condo itself was perfectly fine, maybe even 4 stars but everyday I was there I had to deal with the constant influx of bugs! 10-20 crickets a day in the unit. The bugs were coming into the toilets, sinks and from every little crack in the baseboard. No one wants to pay to kill bugs all day. I complained to the rental agent, she had the HOA spray the exterior of the building to no avail. She never once called back to check a) if they showed up or b) if the spraying took care of the problem. I will never rent a unit if the evolve team is involved. If I could give no stars I would.

Too many bugs!

There were 10-20 crickets in the unit everyday. The representative had the HOA spray the outside but that didn't work. The last night there was even a bug in the bed. Horrible condition for a condo to be rented! The absolute worse VRBO rental I've ever had in 5 years.

Needs some basics but good size

Overall a nice size for a couple and maybe one child willing to sleep on the large couch. For a $100 investment it could be much better. They need to double the number of bath towels, provide a couple of pool towels and provide kitchen towels and washcloths. Odd that there was no way to wash off counters or dry hands or dishes in the kitchen Also there were not any ice trays. Again, for a small investment, these few items would have made the stay more pleasant.

A wonderful place to stay!

We had a great time at the condo. The location was perfect and the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating! The resort and condo have lots to offer. The resort is absolutely beautiful. We mentioned that we were looking forward to reading and lounging and the owners went to the extra effort to buy nice lounge chairs for us. Also, there were many special touches that the owners provided for us making us feel very comfortable and welcome in their lovely condo. Thank you!!!

Sofa bed impossible to sleep on, metal bars in between cushions and very uncomfortable. We /had to buy a blow up mattress. The unit overall was clean, nice bedding towels etc, however the unit was ill equipped in the kitchen, no coffee maker, no toaster, only 3 burners on the stove worked. No bowls for salad, serving, etc. It was comfortable enough but would never rent again. Oh yes the maintenance people for the resort were out every morning by 5:20 am driving by with their tractors, mowers, etc..

Loved it! Exceeded our Expectations!

This place exceeded our expectations. When we arrived, we were surprised at how big and roomy it was - very open with 10 ft ceilings. For a 1 bedroom condo, it's very large. There was a bottle of wine, a few chocolates and a welcoming note - a lovely touch and we certainly enjoyed both the wine and the chocolates. We also loved that there was a Nespresso machine just like we have at home :). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. My husband loved the TV channel selection and Alexa :). And we both loved the digital lock system - no keys to worry about! The owner, Ana, was very responsive on the two occasions we asked questions and she also made recommendations on fun things to do. The surrounding property was beautiful and spacious and we took advantage of the gym, spa and tennis courts as we found rackets in the closet :). We also took advantage of several of the 33 pools around the property. Everyone we encountered at Desert Princess was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property!

Pretty Solid Option

The place was clean and tidy, check-in was easy and the pictures were accurate in the posting. The only thing I would be wary of would be sleeping on the couch. They should really not list this place as sleeping more than 2 people, since the "sleeper sofa" should not be slept on. If they replace it with something better, then this place would be excellent.

I cannot in good faith recommend this condo

This condo has great potential, it's in a great location for travel in and around the Palm Springs area. But it's not there yet - far from it. This is a small place but it's open and airy and not over burned with furniture. It's a nice space. The local contact is awesome, we talked twice and met once. Good guy. One odd thing is that most of the light switches are installed upside down...OFF is on the top and ON is on the bottom. The bed is the only comfortable piece of furniture in the entire condo. The beautiful blue couch is mostly unusable as a couch. I sat down in the middle of the couch/cushion and hit a steel bar, felt like I'd bruised my tailbone, can't lay on the couch as you feel every bit of metal than apparently turns it into a bed. I ended up having to sit on the floor or tried cramming myself into one corner at the armrest. The table and chairs are very small....child like small, but for an adult you will have back problems if you sit for long and I was very afraid the chair would break. Absolutely no instructions on how the tv system works, we ended up plugging in our ROKU so we could watch something. No instructions on using the entertainment system - which is ancient and interesting looking. Didn't use it or even touch it. And the check in instructions were less than adequate, the keyless system works just fine as long as you understand the the way it works. I had to have our local contact explain it to me, then we further figured it out. It works but it is not intuitive. VRBO or Evolve or Owner needs to provide better instructions IMHO. If they replace the furniture and give something good to sit on this would be good for very short stays.

Cozy cool condo

This condo is located in a secure golf course country club. Besides being a nice one bedroom unit with all amenities- iron, lotion, pool towels, toiletries, kitchen essentials, there is a fitness club & various swimming pools. There is also a Club with a restaurant/ bar. I don't golf but there’s that too. Ivan was very responsive to any question I had. As a single gal, I felt pleased, safe & well take care of. I look forward to returning to this location for my next Desert stay.

A vacation that turned into a total nightmare.

WE ARRIVED ON THURSDAY VERY EXCITED ABOUT OUR WEEK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL RESORT. WELL THE REFRIGERATOR WAS HARDLY COOL. NO TOASTER , OR WASTE CANS IN BATHROOMS, NO CAN OPENER OR BAKEWARE. THE CABLE TV DID NOT WORK. WE CALLED THEY HAD US STAY IN CONDO NEXT DAY AND WAIT FOR PROPERTY CONTACT. THEN WAIT FOR HANDYMAN WHO SAID THE FRIDGE COULDN'T BE REPAIRED. ON SATURDAY WE HAD TO WAIT FOR CABLE GUY WHO FIXED CABLE. THE OWNER NOTIFIED US THAT THE FRIDGE WAS BEING DELIVERED THAT WAS OUR 6TH DAY AT CONDO WITH NO FRIDGE. THE PROPERTY MANAGER CALLED AND SAID THE OWNER WAS WILLING TO COMP US 2 DAYS OR $100.00 . WILL WE TOOK TWO EXTRA DAYS. BIG DEAL WHAT A NIGHTMARE. BEWARE OF THIS RENTAL.😒😒.
