'The room was basic but contained everything I needed. I had a garden view on the top floor which was lovely. The air con worked fine and so I kept windows closed which had the added benefit of keeping mosquitoes / bugs out. Having my pot of tea and biscuits in the room each night was a nice touch. 'Overall it was not a pleasant experience from the minute we checked in. I was abandoned during the check in for thirty minutes. When the clerk came back the apology was not acceptable and offered nothing to smooth it over. I hoped that would be it and could move on but turned out that was only the beginning.
