« Beautiful well maintained mountain cabin. Everything was as described in the add and then some! A gift of local honey, coozies and bottled water labeled Antler Ridge was there when we arrived! The wildlife was incredible, lots of deer, a turkey with babies, raccoon, bullfrogs in pond, birds, fireflies, and a bear wandered by while we were enjoying our morning coffee. « We rented this home for four nights, and it was an amazing property with a front view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It has both a front and rear yard. Waking up in the morning was beautiful, especially sitting on the front porch watching the farm animals do their daily routines. Looking over the goats and cattle against the horizon of the mountain was stunning. The home itself was immaculate; the bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were spotless. « The kitchen was a delight to work in. I had everything I needed. The owners make you feel warm and welcome. The cottage is exceptionally appointed. Beautiful finishes, and furniture. It truly is a five minute walk to town. »

« Very cute, Loved the porch for morning coffee. Wish there had been a second bathroom upstairs. At my age, it’s at least a couple trips down the stairs at night. Disappointing that there was no cable or whatever and internet was very slow so couldn’t really use the TV. But maybe it was just us. Didn’t really miss it that much. Would definitely stay again. During the remainder of our trip we kept saying how we miss the porch! »

« The house was very charming and cozy. It met all of our wants (2 bedrooms, king bed in primary, fenced in yard for dog, hot tub & fire pit, close to attractions). The host was very polite and attentive, and gave excellent recommendations for food (which were all in walking distance!). Could use a little more seating in the living room and a few more items in the kitchen (wine glasses, better skillets, sheet pans), but overall the house really has everything you need. We had a great Spring Break...
