'We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. Mario and Angela are lovely! It’s nice and quiet, the roof terrace is ideal for stargazing at night and play during the day. The flowers, the citrustrees, everything is perfect! The house is close to a small bakery, so you can get fresh bread every morning, the other shopping has to be done by car. For us, this was the perfect place to be.'

'Het huisje ligt rustig, aan het eind van het dorpje. Heerlijke tuin en terras met uitzicht over de zee. De huisjes zijn eenvoudig maar goed. Qua hygiëne mag het zeker wel wat schoner, zeker gezien de schoonmaakkosten die je ook nog betaald. Fabrizio is een hele vriendelijke host, de eerste avond stond hij op de stoep met een zeer uitgebreid boodschappen pakket. Naar de zee is het zo’n 20 minuten rijden, de Etna op is zo’n 45 minuten.'

'We were perfectly situated to get to Taormina center. Everything in Casa Florio worked well with extras such as a bottle of wine and plenty of Nespresso capsules for the machine! The spiral staircase looks daunting but functions well. Luckily the bathroom is also upstairs with the bedroom so there were no trips down in the dark. There are two air conditioner units; we could use just what we needed where we needed and it was appreciated to keep the upstairs bedroom cool for sleeping. Genius...

'Multi-generational family visiting Taormina for the first time. Casa di Nonno was a wonderful experience and location! Communication with host was thorough and prompt. We even arranged ground transportation as well. Once we were on site, Christina made sure we had everything we needed, including coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out! Home is beautiful and spending Christmas in Taormina was magical.'

'Our host was gracious and most helpful, Anna Maria met our cab at the entrance of the complex where her apt was located. She showed us how the gate & front door locks worked, where everything was inside. Anna Maria had an informative folder with map of area showing where to find nearby restaurants, attractions, even indicated how long the walk was to each of her suggestions. 'Heerlijk verblijf. Alles is goed voorzien. Ideaal om te verblijven met kinderen dankzij het grote zwembad. We maakten dagelijks gebruik van het grote terras, buitenkeuken. Ook heel gastvrij ontvangen door mr.en mevr. Foti die zorgden voor wijn verse kruiden en limoenen. Topverblijf dat prachtig is gelegen met zicht op etna en zee.'

'We stayed in this villa for a cycling trip with six people. For this purpose, the villa is great with a nice location for numerous trips, a pool to cool down in, and a breathtaking view when relaxing after a ride. There are some nice little towns around, a bit off the beaten track. The house has six beds (excl. the couches) so with six everyone has his/her own bed. Kitchen is equipped well enough to cook for all. Only downside is the steep, gravel road you need to climb and descent on each trip....

'Top locatie.Zo gezellig uit de woning midden in de winkels en restaurants.Alleen voor wat oudere mensen is sjouwen met zware koffers naar 4 hoog is niet handig.We hebben de woonkamer in de topetage bijna niet gebruikt.Na een dag door de stad lopen is thuis trap op trap af voor elke wissewasjes wel erg vermoeiend.Voor de rest hebben we genoten van ons verblijf en de woning ziet er prima uit.'

We spent most of our time at Mazarro beach which is sandy and has a small public area. 'Excellent séjour dans cette maison , conforme à la description. Belle terrasse avec vue sur l'Étna, en éruption pendant notre séjour.. Nous avons apprécié la proximité avec les gens du village et la paix du soir. Accueil chaleureux de Gianfranco le manager de la propriété. La gare n'est pas loin et permet de visiter Taormina, Catane...etc si on veut oublier la voiture...Nous recommandons sans hésiter.'

'Positive: This is a cute place in the town of Taormina. Negative: it is LOUD. They’re a lot noise until very late at night (ie 2am). Not only that, there’s the garbage/ recycling truck that comes by EVERY morning around 7am. This could have been mentioned in the description of the house. Negative: it is very hard to communicate with the super aggressive owner, who sends a text for every little thing through day. Plus she will send her manager, who lives just below, to give the same...
