'As I just mentioned , the hotel has a perfect location : For all the musea and sightseeing, but also for shopping and restaurants... Everything is close to perfect, just like the host. One little detail for the breakfast : it's in the room and that's okay, but there are no eggs or bacon, so it's limited.'

Staying here meant that my group could easily walk to large numbers of famous locations, delicious restaurants and cool stores. At check-in we were given coupons for free drinks at the rooftop restaurant/bar, which we used and loved. 'Nice small scale hotel with pleasant rooms - good bed, good shower, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful personnel. Hotel is located in a cozy street with nice local stores selling arts, jewelry, vintage clothing and good restaurants. Santa Maria Maggiore, Colloseum, Forum all very close by. Our room in the back had no street noise but the walls of the hotel are indeed rather thin and we were unlucky to have a neighbour with a terrible cough in the night. '

'Goeie ligging vlak bij metro,colloseum. Niet ver van station.zeer gastvriendelijk goede wifi op de kamer.simpel maarlekker ontbijt.er was wel enkel handzeep op de kamer dus geen douche zeep of champo.'

'I feel somewhat reluctant to leave this review as this is a place I really want to keep to myself, however that would be unfair to this fabulous little boutique hotel & its wonderful staff. My wife & I were last in Rome in 2017 and fell in love with the Piazza in which La Place is situated. When the time came to return to Rome this April I looked in the same Piazza as my starting point and found this hotel & am glad I did. The hotel is quite anonymous (unless you look up to the first floor...
