'This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences!'

'The staff was great'

'Good location and staff but our room left a lot to be desired. Our bathroom sink faucet leaked our entire visit. A huge portion of the carpet in the bathroom and door was wet which isn’t the best situation when your disabled child can only crawl on the ground.'

'The pool was so dirty you couldn't see the 2nd step of the ladder. The staff was wonderful and called a sister hotel for us to swim at. The breakfast was great, loved the hot bar! I would stay again in hopes the pool was an one off.'

'I reserved a king room with a whirlpool tub and that's what I got. I absolutely enjoyed my weekend getaway. The room was clean save for a few long hairs on a pillow but luckily I always bring my own. And the jets could've been cleaned more thoroughly but I brought my own lysol wipes for that purpose. The room never did get ice cold but it was in direct sunlight and all it took was one hot shower to take all the cool away. 'Good clean room and air conditioning is good'

'We stayed for one night before a local concert and found this to be a great value. Although the lobby had a strong bleach smell upon arrival, our room and the entire property were very clean. The breakfast buffet was good, and the restaurant staff provided exceptionally friendly service.'
