Summer road trip 🚗 to Lake Placid, a quaint village in the Adirondacks region (which hosted the 1980 Winter Olympics) ⛷. In town for just a weekend, we decided to do the shortest and easiest hike in Adirondack and that was Cascade Mountain. ⛰ At an elevation of around 4000 ft., it offers great views of Lake Placid for a casual hiker. 👟👟 Trip highlight: 🌌Stargazing near a surreal mist covered pond in Tupper Lake area, with wolves đŸș howling nearby. (I wish I had captured a video but as luck would have it, since it was an impromptu activity, we didn't have the right equipment. Then again, maybe it's best left for another visit to this cozy town 😊) #Adirondacks #NY #takeahike
