'Lovely stay in a great position by the river. The decor was a little shabby chic, but we liked it. The beds were comfortable but it was hard to sleep in the bedroom by the road because of the noise of people and cars going past and also there is no curtain at the window behind the bed only a blind, so the street light lit up the room.'

'This cottage exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect to explore the Highlands if you want to visit Inverness, Nairn, or the surrounding areas. The view is spectacular and the cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend!'

'Perfect property for exploring Inverness! Lovely view of River Ness and beautiful trees right outside windows, functional and pleasant layout, welcome basket of treats, well outfitted kitchen, washer dryer....there were even fans in the bedrooms for white noise and airflow!. Easy and lovely walk into town center. So much to see and do within easy distance. Highly recommend!'

'All facilities were available for our needs. unfortunately the springs in the mattress were broken and there were several lumps which we were laying on which resulted in myself getting a sore back. The sofa bed needed cleaning as was very stained. On entering the apartment the floor was very uneven whilst walking on it because the whole apartment seemed as it was subsiding.'

'Tombeck was nice, roomy, comfortable. Had a large kitchen fully stocked with cookware, oven, stove, kettle, microwave. We liked the large wooden dining table. A great place from which to explore Tomintoul and the Cairngorms. Also has a washing machine and dryer, but no instructions so took some time to figure them out (and the washing machine makes a loud noise and really shakes while running).'
