Great Condo in Carlsbad, by the beach and great firepit!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. 1. Location was amazing. 1 block to the great beach. We enjoyed volleyball and running on the paved path that runs along the beach. Easy 5 block rock to the villages many restaurnts even closer. Town has everything from fine dining to beach tacos. The three bedrooms were great. We had two couples and 2 children. Pleanty of room to spread out and an extra bed is available if needed Sand toys, boogie boards, and chairs were great. The shared firepit and grill area was very large and well maintained. I will rent here again on our next stay and you should too!

Great location that had to “grow” on us

Upon first arrival, we were very dismayed to find several surprises: 1) parking was very difficult. The one space we were alloted was very tight and made unpacking the car challenging. We also had two cars in our party so one of us had to find street parking, which was difficult to come by on the Saturday that we checked in, but got easier after the weekend. 2) Our unit was upstairs. We did not realize that our unit was up several stairs (not made clear in the description). This posed a problem for the physically challenged Grandpa in our group and loading and unloading a week's worth of groceries was exhausting. 3) I received a phone call at 2:50 pm on the day of arrival that our 4:00 check in time had to be moved back. We live about an hour away and our car was already loaded with perishables for our 5 day stay. We had planned to leave our house at 3:00 pm. We left at 4:15 pm and arrived to the unit at 5:15 pm to find that it still was not ready. We began unloading our car and deposited things on the outdoor deck while the cleaning staff finished up. We were able to get into the unit at 5:30 pm. On the upside, one of the cleaning crew took pity on Grandpa and carried some heavy items up for us. Once we got over the disappointment of finding some things different than expected, we highly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and our party of 4 adults and 2 children had plenty of room. The outdoor courtyard is fantastic!

Fabulous location across from the beach and within walking distance to Carlsbad Village! We loved the outside courtyard with fire pit, grills with plenty of seating, umbrellas and space. Another fantastic stay at the best condo in Carlsbad

We come to Carlsbad every summer, and we’ve stayed in many different homes. We keep coming back to Sean and Lily’s because it’s just the best. Newer, clean, well-stocked, great location a couple of blocks from the beach. This is just the best place to stay!
