'Absolutely gorgeous lodge in a stunning and peaceful location. So handy. Close to all our usual haunts in Keswick but the setting makes you feel like you are wonderfully cut off from the world and I mean that in the best possible way. The lodge was super well equipped and the WiFi was better than at home! Tackled a few more Wainwrights while we were there. Would not hesitate to return to the site. The only minor blip was that there were workers fixing the electrics for some time when we arrived...

'Op zich wel redelijk, maar de schoonmaak en het onderhoud mag voor het geld dat gevraagd wordt echt wel beter. De afvoeren in de keuken waren vies, er lag nog beschimmeld brood in de keuken. De badkamerdeur wil niet dicht (los scharnier). De deurmat was echt smerig.'

'We (family of four) had a comfortable stay in this house. The kitchen seems quite new and modern. The location is near the center of the town where you find shops and places to eat, we’d recommend the Indian place. From this house we made several trips to the lakes which are beautiful.'

'Group of 5 family and friends stayed at this lovely home, situated perfectly close to town. The property is perfect for groups and a lovely large kitchen and gathering area. Communication with our host was seamless. We loved that within a matter of steps, we were in the center of town and had such easy access to a wide variety of beautiful hiking trails. First visit to Keswick exceeded expectations.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little gem on the outskirts of the Lake District. Communication with the owner is very friendly, the house itself is very clean and cozy, equipped with everything we could have wanted. Waking up to a splendid view over the fells and sheep meadows from the bedroom windows, followed by a nice breakfast in the garden, was one of our everyday highlights during our one week stay.'

'Great little cottage, definitely remote (but easy to find) and with a lovely wild little garden, albeit it shared with the next door cottage, so care is needed when letting dogs (and children)! in and out. Was very well appointed although we had a couple of little niggles, being a loose toilet roll holder downstairs and we found it very dusty and would definitely benefit from a top to toe bottoming with a damp cloth, surfaces, inside cupboards etc. Finally we weren't overlly keen on the lack of...

'The location is excellent, close to the city center. The parking opportunities are limited, fortunately unloading and loading is possible in the street of the location. The apartment is well equipped and sizable. However, the windows pf apartment 3 are facing an inner court with a venting system of a restaurant. It produces strong kitchen smells during most of the day. It should be discussed with the owner how to reduce the smells (with scrubs, perhaps).'

'The cottage is beautiful, immaculately clean, very comfortable, well equipped, and spacious with 3 bedrooms snd two bathrooms. I would describe it as a little gem with oodles of character. Eileen and Richard are wonderful hosts. Such lovely people and gave great tips about where to go and where best to park. Got to mention Humphrey, Maple and Syrup - the adorable ducks!
