'Perfect location for walking and chilling.'

'Very nice flat plenty of space and nice and clean.A few items could be improved, no soap in the property, instructions for the washing machine would be helpful .Guests staying a week or more it would be nice to have a welcome pack or at least some tea and milk etc . Biggest problem no Wi Fi , property uses a neighbours internet to run the smart Tv which only had one bar or didn’t work at all for the 1st 3 days but tv guys sorted it to freeview. As the phone signal is not good in the area I really...

'The property has real presence and looks stunning. Its decor is in keeping with the property and looks a bit worn but makes it feel loved. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was...

No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...

'Very clean and tidy place with friendly staff.'

'We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there'

The bed was also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, particularly the carpet, which was covered in stains. This gave the room a tired and poorly maintained appearance and certainly detracted from the overall experience. Another disappointment was the lack...

'Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.'

'Een leuke pub met daarboven heel propere kamers. We sliepen op de eerste verdieping, maar hadden totaal geen last van het lawaai van het feestje beneden.'
