« The cabin’s interior was clean and tidy, with eclectic decor and a working pinball machine (so fun!). There is central air that works very well and stands up to that southern Illinois humidity. The shower was perfect for my 6’5 husband and had great water pressure. You’re surrounded by deep woods but only a few minutes outside of Carbondale, a short drive to Giant City, and all of the other great places in the area. « High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy. »

« Nice, small, cozy place to stay in! Really worked well with two people! The appliances were up to date and easy to use. The property is within around 20 minutes of multiple towns, so it's super easy to travel around! Highly recommend and I would stay here again! »

« Pretty nice stay overall. Location's clean and quiet. Deer and peacocks around if you like those. Hard to get lost. Only 5 miles off from stores if you need to pick something up. Negatives: I'm short and had a hard time reaching things, so I had to buy a stool (that's a me problem, I realize). The wi-fi never worked so I had to rely on mobile data (TV streamed through satellite so that was fine). Dealt with a lot of spiders and flies. Didn't try the hot tub because two wasps were hanging around...
