'So many good things about this house- great location, so cute, stocked with snacks. My two complaints are 1) the furniture. The couch and chairs are flaking leather, and it’s all over the floors. You can’t lay on the couch, the flakes get everywhere then. I found them in the bed, in my hair… I think that needs to be taken care of. 2) we found a dead mouse in a trap under the couch. Really wish that would have been checked and dealt with before we got there. All in all, I do recommend this house...

'If you are looking for peace and quiet in wine country this is definitely the place. We stayed for almost a month and explored the area pretty thoroughly. There is a lot within an hours drive to do in Missouri, Kentucky, and Illinois of course. The host is incredible!!!!'

'We had a nice stay. The house was clean and served our purpose. The only negative was the downstairs bathroom, we only used the shower once due to water going all over the floor. It isn’t a shower stall but a drain in the floor with an inadequate lip to keep the water contained '

'Very good communication with host before and during stay. House was super clean and very cute. There were a lot of kitchen appliances, dishes, cooking pots and pans. Quiet and peaceful, even with Meadery on the property. Our only “complaint” is that the furniture in both upstairs and downstairs living areas was not super comfortable for long term sitting. Otherwise, highly recommended 💕'

'Host had the cabin very clean. New leather couch & recliner. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Washer & Dryer were excellent. Another Rental house near, long-term renters were very quiet. Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality.'
