Modern Suite in Historic Building Two Blocks to Beach

In the heart of downtown Cape Charles, Bayside Dreamer Unit B is modern loft style apartment with all the comforts of a 4 star hotel suite! Meticulously renovated and designed with the finest appointments, the Bayside Dreamer Unit B offers a delightful respite right in the heart of historic Cape Charles. A large living area sports a large, new Samsung 50" TV and comfortable seating. The apartment features a large original photograph by Michael Kahn.
The adjacent kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for those times when you just want to stay in instead of hitting the local restaurants and pubs. Beyond the kitchenette is a king bedroom with super comfortable mattress and another Samsung 50" smart TV is hung on the upper wall facing the bed. There is an additional space behind the apartment that houses a washer and dryer shared with the neighboring suite. The bathroom is modern with a walk in shower that has both a handheld shower head and a ceiling mounted rain shower head. The bathroom also features a heated floor. Sanitized bed and bath linens are provided but bring your own beach towels.

Step out the front door, turn right and in less than 100 feet you will be on Mason Avenue, the main commercial street in Cape Charles with many specialty shops and eateries. As a matter os fact, Kelly’s Gingernut Pub is right at the intersection and Brown Dog Ice Cream is less than a half block away if you take a left at the intersection. If you turn right on Mason, it’s a short two blocks to the uncrowded Cape Charles Beach on the Chesapeake Bay. There is space behind the apartment to store beach chairs, wash off sandy feet and hang beach towels to dry.

Great space.
Loved the details in this smaller but totally functional property. Host was attentive and helpful and the the room was just off the Main Street in Cape Charles. We lived it. The heated bathroom floor was a sweet bonus!

Exceptional find of luxury in a historic town
Unit 1B was exceptional for a weekend stay. Beautiful, artful, comfortable, new renovations all come to mind to describe. The living room was great and made very functional with kitchenette. Comfortable bed and plenty space for clothes. The bathroom was spacious with that heated floor!! No fear of going at night . . . . Would stay there again!!

Just as a point of notification… The sleeping pillows on the bed were extremely thick and unable to be used to sleep on through the evening… A call was made asking for possible pillow replacements… But no return call and then we checked out this morning. Also, it would be nice to have a small mat on the floor when entering the property for wiping off shoes. Otherwise everything was great.

Only ONE thing wrong...
This property was perfect for our 4 day get-a-way to Cape Charles. The property was well appointed, very clean, and was in the perfect location. Our check in/check out instructions that were emailed to us were out of date and had incorrect instructions. When we tried to contact the manager, it took numerous times to get a response, but then we received the correct instructions. The listing says that this property includes linens, but that isn't completely true. We received 2 bath towels, 1 hand cloth and 1 wash cloth for 2 people for 4 days/3 nights. I just figured it was a mistake and had to call the property manager again. This time, it took over 2 hours to get a response after calling, leaving several voice mails and text messages. Once they called me and I told them my issue, they said that they would bring me ONE more wash cloth, but that is all that all we should get is one bath cloth per person, so they agreed to bring us ONE more, even though she knew I was not happy about having to reuse a wash cloth. I reuse bath towels and can certainly use the same hand towel for a few days, but never in my life have I rented a VRBO or hotel and was expected to REUSE a wash cloth 5 or six times. I thought it was totally unacceptable and that is the ONLY reason I am not giving this property 5 stars.

Amazing Little Apartment!
My husband and I rented this beautiful apartment for our 15th anniversary and it was perfect! Well appointed, decorated and clean, with all the amenities we needed for some relaxing beach days! It's the perfect place to be able to walk to all of the shops and restaurants. I really liked that we didn't HAVE to rent a golf cart since everything was so walkable (even the beach with all our stuff!). I highly recommend!
