Agriturismos in Campbeltown

'Nice as always'

'We found everything at the resort to be excellent. We did not have time to take advantage of the pools and exercise equipment, nor some of the other facilities available. The restaurant buffet breakfasts were superb. However, we did not like the burgers, which were required by law to be well done.'

'X'

'Castle at the lake, that's all, really. But it was ok, as we only went there to sleep. Good bar, friendly personnel. The maintenance of the room could have been better and the bed more comfortable.'

'Stayer 2 nights. Nice people. Nice dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff.'

'I booked here for hotel only on my way through town. For the rates they charge it was not what I was expecting, it fell flat for me. I wasn't allowed to use the pool, staff were dragging bins outside of my window loudly until 10:45pm. My view was bins. I was told the only rooms with a view were the cottages. The room was mediocre, it was clean but basic. The service in the restaurant was great, the food was okay but nothing extraordinary. A heads up you might expect a bit more for the cost...

'Would not recommend. Hotel needs update and room smells musty.'

'Small scale Bed & Breakfast overlooking Tarbert harbor. Nice rooms, with a smallish but complete bathroom. Alistair, our host, cooked us a lovely breakfast. Excellent starting or finish point for the boat trip to/from Islay.'
