'The one bedroom chalet we booked was a bit more compact than expected, but it was clean, the bed and sofa were comfy and the evening sun on the terrace was enjoyable. The onsite restaurant, "The Oranges", was lovely and reasonably priced. The site has direct access to the beach, which is dog friendly, but the closer to Calvi, dogs are banned. It's a good walk into Calvi, but very pleasant, and there's plenty going on around the marina and old town.'

'The location is PERFECT. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. Clean, calm, safe, very kind and helpfull staff. Breakfast are VERY good. Pool is perfect. Wifi was not super strong. Would absolutely go again!'

'Tolles kleines Hotel in der Balagne! Der Hotelier hat jeden Morgen ein exzellentes Frühstück gezaubert mit frisch gebackenem Kuchen, selbstgemachten Smoothies, Joghurts und Obstsalat - köstlich!!! Außerdem ist die Hotelanlage ein Traum, mit Blick in die Berge und den Garten. Der Pool ist super gepflegt, genau wie der Garten. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch topp, wenn man die Dörfer der Balagne besuchen möchte. Der Strand in Île Rousse ist 16 km entfernt. Auch Calvi, Calenzana und Saint Florent...

He gave us superb tips for hiking and adapted to our diet needs for the very yummy and inviting breakfast. 1722 is located behind a old church in a beautiful, quiet, traditional stone village. We absolutely recommend it. For the rooms, it's better not stay on the ground floor, as it tends to be damp. But there's an air-con.'
