Situated in a fancy neighborhood, 15 minutes away by walking from central station or Van Gogh and Rijk museums, very practical to see a lot of things. « We were traveling as a family with two of our young adult children. We love staying in properties that offer local character, and this property delivers. Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs. If you have mobility challenges in any way, this property is not for you. Having said that, my husband has a bum knee, and he was able to manage. Interior stairway offers child safety...

« Great apartment in a fun location. We really enjoyed being right in/on the edge of the hustle and bustle. And the location on the canal we were on was excellent. The tree-lined canal, the local restaurants and pubs, the early evening golden hour…all were great. Two things to note: the noise in the alley will definitely impact your sleep late into the night. But it is super quiet until 9 or 10 am so plenty of time to sleep in. Also, the small bed in the very small room with the limited...
