'We were warmly welcomed by the staff on arrival and when they showed us up to the room we fell instantly in love with the sea view. The room was very clean and in good shape. What’s more, we ate in the restaurant and the food was fresh, locally sourced and also great value for money when compared to other local options.'

'Best place to stay on Orkney, we did a 4night stay with breakfast and dinner every day, it was amazing specially with the hospitality of Suzanne! 10 out of 10'

'Clean and good service. Good breakfast. A bit out of range for city-centre'

'We were very lucky because both times we parked at the hotel, we got one of the 2 slots in front of the hotel, so we didn't have to try and find the additional parking lot, but the staff did give us a map to find it. Keep in mind that there is no lift, so depending on your floor you need to carry your bags up. The 23kg bag was not much fun to take up and then down 2 flights of stairs. 'The hotel doesn't have a own parking, the location is so/so and the outside of the hotel looks like there's nothing to it but don't judge this book by it's cover. The rooms and beds are amazing. You sleep sound, like sleeping beauty and the staff is very kind and friendly. Definitely a place where I would wanna go back.'

'Great staff and location but my poor rating was because the mattress was extremely soft! Not good for one’s back and the lifts weren’t working.'

'Wakker worden met uitzicht op bos. wayne is een super vriendelijke host. Hij beantwoord vragen direct, heeft leuke tips en advies voor trips in omgeving. Ideale tussenstop als je de NC500 rijdt. Maar eigenlijk jammer dat we niet langer dan 1 nacht konden blijven. Bedden lagen heerlijk, fijn beddengoed, textiel etc. Het is ontzettend schoon. We verbeleven hier met 3 personen. Meer dan voldoende ruimte. In keuken alles aanwezig. Wifi uitstekend. We raden deze cottage aan om te boeken. Als je tijd...

'A beautiful place to stay when visiting Orkney. Ideal location to get to all the sights. Accommodation was perfect and Albert and Aileen couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!'

'Slechte douche'

'Friendly, clean and conveniently located. Breakfast was great and the owners were incredibly helpful. Really enjoyed my stay.'

'Friendly host, clean room and superb breakfast. It is a bit out of town center to get your dinner. '
