North of the city was Constable country… nice walks and interesting info on the artists. South we enjoyed Tiptree museum, and the Salt marshes for walking and photography. 'Cottage was really nice to stay at for our 10 day England trip. Bathrooms being updated was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Being positioned on a golf course off the main road made for quiet nights. The bistro next door with the included 10% discount for staying at the cottage was excellent for breakfast and evening drinks. Perfect little picturesque and quaint cottage. '
