'Great place for solo or couples, staff was helpful and even though I came early I was able to lock up my bags before my check in, bring cash for the added tax or just pay with card (extra fee). Rooms are pretty much sound proof, showers were open but private, room is straight to the point and there’s space under the bed for luggage, an open kitchen to heat up your convenience store finds. Around 20+ minutes walk to some nightlife and shopping! For me it was a bit hard to get a taxi but the city...

'Beautiful.'

'Fabulous hotel and staff! Only a 10-minute walk from Kyoto’s shopping district and situated in a quiet neighborhood directly off the main road, Hotel Muso was perfect for our stay in Kyoto. The hotel was clean and modern, the room was clean, beautiful, and super comfortable. We loved the amenities and layout. The staff was just as wonderful. Kind, caring, and very attentive when we checked in and out and throughout our stay. They even delivered a complimentary brunch! Hotel Muso is...

'We traveled to Kyoto as a family of 4 and arrived to Mimaru Suites in the evening. The room was like having a small apartment. It had two separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one attached to the one of the rooms and one was separate. The layouts on the website are accurate. We even had a couple nights where we watched Netflix like we do at home (however it was in Japanese! We had to do English subtitles!) There is tea and coffee available every morning from 7am - 10pm and also free sake and...

'Een top lokatie om met een gezin Kyoto en omgeving te verkenen. Niet in de toeristische drukte maar wel luxe en dichtbij de metro en trein.'

'Great hotel, great location (close to the subway stop, many restaurants and train station). Staff was extremely helpful. Would 100% recommend!'

'The Aoi Hotel is located centrally to great restaurants, shopping, local attractions, and beautiful views. I was pleasantly surprised to be far enough from the main hustle and bustle to have peace and quiet, but close enough to walk to enjoy Kyoto. The staff is helpful and friendly, just a chat away using their cool interactive pad accessible in the room. Our room had a washer/dryer and they provided detergent, which helped us get reset for our time in Kyoto. Did I mention it’s spacious! We had...

'I liked the free self-serve laundry and access to bike riding services. I thought the room was lovely, clean and spacious and the staff were accommodating when we needed a late clean.'

'Every detail was curated, nothing was left unplanned both in the bedrooms and in the common areas. Location was perfect, quiet and well connected to the metro and main Kyoto train station. The Onsen facility was a nice moment in the evening to relax and experience a traditional ritual. Breakfast was also very good and the staff available to help with any query. Only note the laundry area was frequently busy plan ahead if you need to wash your clothes. Overall, highly recommended!'

'The European staff working there are arrogant & rude. The Asian staff was much friendlier. The hotel itself was nice but super far from everything and not worth what I paid. I should have booked two hotel rooms for the same price I paid for one here, and booked closer to Kyoto station.'

'Goede, maar kleine kamer Uitstekende ligging Prima ontbijt'

'great location'

'So glad I found this place. Absolutely perfect location. Everything so accessible. Extremely comfortable with everything I needed. They even include hair straighteners! Super clean and technology enabled with numeric keypad so no key card to worry about. I had room on 4th floor with river view. Room is very well equipped and spacious with desk, lounge area etc. Very comfortable beds and room. Pillows a little hard for my personal taste and minimal space around beds but this didn’t detract from...
