Landhuizen in Buenavista de Valdavia

'We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But...

'Beautiful views -staff were superb. Very clean room. Only thing was no air-con but a fan was supplied and the room cooled way down at night anyway.'

'Hemos estado mi familia y yo una semana alojados en esta casa y la estancia ha sido fabulosa. La ubicación de la casa es genial para recorrer la zona. Mar, la casera, muy atenta, amable y profesional. En definitiva, como en nuestra propia casa, para repetir. Recomendable 100%. Merece la pena visitar la zona. Hemos quedado encantados.'
