Charming two storey house apartment in a restored seventeenth century house.
This retreat was recently officialy licensed as a **** holiday house by the flemish tourist board.

High degree of home feeling assured through the use of quality construction materials and selective furniture pieces in a picturesque setting.
All house comfort with laundry cleaning facilities in the basement and well equipped open kitchen. Refreshing corner with shower cabin on the first floor and nice bathroom with bath on the upper floor. Nice small roof terrace.

The Master bedroom is quite spacious and has a beautiful beam ceiling all the way in the saddle roof top. The second bedroom has a small dressing under the japanese staircase that leads to a mezzanine under the saddle roof top where you can find a large double bed . Please note that this bedroom is very cosy but has a completely different setting then the master bedroom. It is very much loved by children and young people although being used all the time by grown-ups also. For elderly it might be a bit more difficult in use.

Voortreffelijk verblijf

Fijne en hartelijke ontvangst. De gastheer is heel flexibel en deed alles om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het appartement voldeed aan onze verwachtingen en is een combinatie van klassieke en moderne elementen (o.a. airco, keuken). Je wordt dadelijk in de sfeer van Brugge gedompeld.

Het appartement is top. Op een mooie centrale plek in Brugge. Het contact met de verhuurder was erg prettig en verliep soepel. Zowel voor als tijdens ons bezoek. Het appartement was mooi en goed onderhouden. Zeker een aanrader als je Brugge wilt ontdekken.

We had a lovely stay and highly recommend this property. The flat is beautiful and very well appointed. The location is perfect– close to the main square and 20 minutes walk to train station, but outside the really touristy areas, so it is quiet and relaxing. Alex was a great host– he welcomed us when we arrived and gave us some excellent suggestions for our seven day stay in Bruges. We truly enjoyed our stay and Casa Michelangelo. We would stay here again for sure.

Alex's place was wonderful, and he was such a gracious host. The building is hundreds of years old but has been made modern and efficient without losing any charm. It's on a quiet street in walking distance of everything. Perfect spot to spend a few days in this wonderful city.

Lovely, well situated and well appointed house near the center of town.

We loved this house for our family of five. There was room for everyone, two bathrooms, laundry facilities on site and a full kitchen. The house was lovely - beautiful decorations and comfortable furniture. Alex was responsive and accommodated our need to drop off bags early and leave them a little beyond checkout time. Wonderful location if you don’t drive

The home was wonderful and we loved the location for walking, however both Google maps and Apple Maps seemed jumbled when it came to finding a way to the house that cars can go through. Once we figured it out and got parked it was AMAZING!! The host was very kind and helpful and we had a wonderful time going out and then being close enough to warm up and eat then head back out for the beautiful Christmas lights!

Beautiful in Bruges

Where to start with how well appointed and comfortable our stay was here. First Alex met us when we arrived, showed us around, explained how all the appliances worked and gave us many recommendations for where to go, what to eat, and who had the best chocolate (take this advise, they are not all the same) The location of this house is situated just far enough from the crowds to be nice and quiet but close enough to easily walk to all the sights and stores. The house itself is well furnished and felt like a home, not like a typical vacation rental. There is a washer and dryer in the basement that worked very well. This home also has air conditioning which was nice on hot days Highly recommend!.

What an experience!

Alex is such an excellent host. His apartment is not only perfectly situated but furnished with taste. Alex helped bring our suitcases upstairs and even our groceries. What a nice man. I was there with my two adult kids. I had the nicest room and felt like a queen. My kids too were happy with their rooms. I would go there again and again. And oh! I almost forgot to mention the beautiful little terrasse between the roofs, great spot for apéro time ! Thanks Alex for your wonderful house.

Gut gelegene Wohnung und sehr gemütlich

Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben. Unsere Tochter schlief in dem Dachboden-Zimmer und weil sie keine Probleme hatte, ist zu erwähnen, dass die Treppe recht steil ist und kein Geländer hat. Die Wohnung is ideal gelegen, in wenigen Minuten ist man direkt in Brügge und es gibt viele Restaurants auch weg vom allgemeinen Touristentrubel. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist auch in der Nähe. Der Parkplatz ist wenige Schritte von der Wohnung entfernt
