'We were a family group of grandparents, children, grandchildren and the house was perfect for us all. We especially liked that one young family could sleep in one area of the house and the other family in a slightly different area which avoided everyone being up once the youngest was awake. The bedrooms were all comfortable and lots of bathrooms which we love as a family. The kitchen/conservatory area is fabulous and far bigger than the pictures lead you to believe. 'Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. I have been here a few times previously and hope to come many times more…'

'Staying in the lovely cottage in Shaldon was an absolute delight! The accommodation itself is excellent and close to amenities. The village boasts a bakery, inviting pubs, and the fantastic Clipper restaurant, ensuring there's never a shortage of delicious dining options. Additionally, the short walk to Teignmouth provided ample opportunities to explore the pier, browse quaint shops, indulge in cozy cafes, and even take a scenic ferry back to Shaldon, making it a truly memorable and picturesque...

'The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property.'

'We had a fantastic stay in the cottage, which was in a great location for the main harbour, a great local pub (6 doors down), various public parking (buy a permit from Torbay council website) and town centre. All rooms were perfectly clean and very well equipped. Great area out the back to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink. We will definitely return in the future.'

"There is an enormous lack of maintenance for the building, estate, garden. Outside swimming pool. Only some rooms have been renovated. The floors in the hotel are uneven everywhere, so that the beds are standing skewly on the floor which causes a very bad and unhealthy nightrest. This hotelis not worththe money we paid: nearly 200 eur per night for 2 adults and 1 child. The personnel is very kind, always ready to help and doing everything they can to make customers satisfied. "
