'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening. 'The property is a GREAT location. The host is lovely. The house is very clean. You can see Bald eagles from the porch! Just a caution for light sleepers that the property is in the main “highway” road so you can hear cars from inside the house, but they have a white noise machine in each sleeping area, which helps.'

'The location was stunning, very private as promised. BUT, this location is not for the faint of heart. It’s not very clean, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed or swept when we arrived, my husband had to spend 20 minutes with scissors removing all the hair from the vacuum before it could actually turn to pick anything up. He spent another 20 minutes clearing the bathroom sink drain or the water would just sit in the sink. There was mouse poop in every corner, window sill, counter top. It is a...

'Good location and clean - 'check in' was easy. Place could do with a refresh as there was a number of 'chips' in walls and cracked tile - no broom/brush and dust pan. The patios could have been cleaned before we arrived. The townhouse we were assigned was not the one in the photo, however, altogether it was a pleasant stay.'
