'Staying at the Cliff Lodge during Oktoberfest is definitely a splurge, but my family always looks forward to it. Great outdoor pool with hot tubs, lovely outdoor patio at SeventyOne, simply beautiful mountains, and reasonable valet parking as guests of the hotel. The beds looked beautiful, but none of us slept well with the giant fluffy cube pillows that didn’t flatten out at all; however, we look forward to staying at this hotel again next year. Worth it. 'ew normal problems, but the staff overcame everything and made it perfect. Special shout out to Spencer, who works at the pool; he’s probably one of the hardest working and most personable guys I’ve ever met. The servers were fun, too, singing happy birthday. We had room service that was so personable- she even wrote a handwritten note. To top it off, private dining was teasing me about being sick and suggested I eat some sugar with my breakfast. This kind of service is what you get at St Regis....

'This is a Studio Apt (no couch) at the Silverado Lodge. It's about a 10 minute walk up a small street to the Red Pine Gondola. There's a shuttle that runs frequently that will take you there. The kitchen is stocked: 2 coffee makers, pots, pans, dishes, full sized fridge. Very nice. The bed was very comfortable. 'The place was terrific and the location was awesome. Canyons has some major issues with pressure points and getting skiers and riders on the hill on busy days because there are only two lifts (it took a 75 minutes to get on the lift one morning).
