'Zeer charmant huisje in het mooie dorpje Barbizon. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Host/hostess spreken goed Engels. Viel wel op dat de straat voor het huisje in de nacht (weekend) toch druk was en er zeer snel werd gereden. Maar dat is misschien toeval. Parkeren kan voor de deur. Super.'

'We stayed for a week in this lovely apartment. I highly recommend it. The host is very friendly, we had a warm welcome. The beds are good, WiFi works very well and the shower is amazing. The place is fully equipped, everything you need to prepare a nice meal is present. Gas fuelled BBQ in the garden works very well. Great place to relax after a long day of bouldering in the forest. They even have crashpads for rent. '

'The cottage is idyllic and romantically beautiful. The furnishings are simple and functional. I enjoyed the fragrant flowers and the warm hospitality of Michel and Sylvie. Nearby is the beautiful forest where you can walk and climb. You can share the beautiful gate and garden with the owners. I only missed a bakery in the village. Beautiful village with beautiful stone walls and gardens. Calm and quiet place, like to come back.Wish I was still there.'

De eigenaresse Elisabeth ontving ons ter plaatse, vriendelijke dame en er werd het een en ander uitgelegd. Het is een goede basis om naar Parijs, Disneyland Parijs en Paleis van Versailles te gaan! Wij waren super enthousiast!'

'We found the house was a comfortable base for our stay visiting Paris for the Olympic Games. It is conveniently located only about 15 minutes drive from Tournan-en Brie which is on two RER lines which take you into the centre of Paris in 30-45 minutes. The house is well equipped and stayed cool during some very hot weather. The welcome was friendly and efficient giving us all the information we needed. The only negatives were the dampness of the atmosphere in the house, this is probably related...

The fragrant linden tree was in flower, and the red current bushes were full of edible berries. We had access to trail bikes, which we used to explore the countryside.
