Hôtel Haute Ville, Bridgnorth

« Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues. »

« I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. The room and en-suite were possibly the smallest we've ever...

« Efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms with all the facilities you need. Evening meal and service was excellent couldn’t fault my stay would definitely recommend. »

« Although much about this property is dated, the warmth of its welcome, the high quality of its food, and the ease of parking (for £4 a day in the carpark across the road) make this a five star stay. »

« Good clean property, staff very friendly. Very accommodating for pet. »

« I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again. »

« A wonderful hotel, everything was super nice, the room, (given a upgrade), the food outstanding, and the friendliest you could have ever meet. Definitely will book when next in the area. »

« Norma was absolutely wonderful, helpful and efficient. The accommodation was clean and tidy, shower was great. Breakfast was well varied and tasty. Evening meal was excellent. Bar and staff were good. Will be visiting again 😊 »

« Outsdanding = great location, terrific service, cheap price. I will do my best to come back herefor holidays. Thanks again for that wonderful stay »

« Convenient to visit Ironbridge sites »

« Perfect overnight and welcoming stay and fabulous breakfast »

« Great location, friendly host who provided the extra bonus of cake! Very clean, although the bed and pillows were a little hard for our taste and we booked the downstairs room - so please be aware that you are able to hear street noise and people walking around the house, not very soundproof. Large modern bathroom and great amenities in the room, the host couldn’t do enough for you »

« The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows...

« Need a geography degree to find one's way around; Coffee best avoided; Bed too soft; Room entry system archaic; Risk of being charged twice for same stay. Friendly staff and nice location. »

« It was ideally situated for what we wanted. But it deserved a better restaurant than the Welcome Break »

« The temperature in my room was 17° and never went above 18° despite my request. So a fan was snoring all night. The shower was cold too. and the light was dim at night. I was afraid of crossing a polar bear! Location is great if you attend an event at Telford International. »

« Only stopped for one night which was trouble free. On arrival taken to room which was well kept and very nice. Staff were friendly, would stay again »
