'We were notified several hours before checking in that the lock code was not working and then it had to be changed and that all was fixed. Door lock battery had died by the time we attempted to check in. Several attempts were made by myself and VRBO to get ahold of host. 9 hrs later - finally made contact and then was able to get in the unit. My two children and I had to sleep all night in the car in 16 weather with groceries that some of them had gone bad due to the circumstances. Thankfully...

The grill, the fire pit, the old stove, and the patio made the stay that much better. Only Negatives: tiny shower and bathroom, and the “hot tub' is just an old bathtub. If visiting in colder months, bring firewood and groceries—no nearby shops, which was fine for us, but could be tough with kids. '
