« The gravel drive that the cabins are on is absolutely horrible. Iv never been on a drive that bad before. There are pot holes everywhere and they are super deep. There are steep hills to go up and down and it’s honestly nearly impossible to do if you don’t have a 4x4. It was only stated in the winter one is needed. I believe it’s needed all year road. « The location was peaceful and close to hiking and restaurants. There was plenty of deer and rabbits for our viewing pleasure. I liked there was no internet so that my vacation forced me to disconnect and relax (something I have a hard time doing). Take some games, DVDs, and books and relax. Only one real recommendation - chairs (rockers or a porch swing) on the front porch. It is a great porch and that is where we saw most of the wild life. I could have sat out there for hours. »

« It was excellent ! We are now considering a weekend with the entire family. The only challenge we had was, the heat. We kept it on 70, and when the heat came on, the furnace and ductwork sounded rough, and, the heat really pours out. My opinion is, the furnace is oversized for this cabin.That said, we will definitely rent it again!! »
