The cabin is very private, with a wooded driveway. Beautiful lake cabin with nice wide dock, perfect for lounging or launching. There are 2 kayaks available for you to use as well as 1 canoe (NOT a lake to swim or fish in). The property is located right on the Paul Bunyan Trail, so it is great for biking, walking, snowmobiling and other outdoor activities. It offers beautiful views and wildlife is abundant. We have deer, swans, geese, turtles, eagles and much more! The yard is level and large enough to play games. At night, come sit with your friends and family around the camp fire, listen to the loons and gaze up at the stars!

This cabin is fantastic! It’s beautiful and cozy and the in-floor heat feels so good. Very comfortable beds. We hope that they plan to add a gas fireplace and that would be the icing on the cake! Thank you to our host! We had a lovely weekend!

The Cabin was so clean and neat, and had a great welcome when we opened the door. The Cooking utensils were cleaned and had enough for us to use. We were a group of 10 and used most of the Utensils. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of tissues and towels. Overall, it was a great experience, and the Kids enjoyed watching the Fire TV they provided. we never found anything missing and host prepared the cabin very well for us to have a pleasant and memorable stay in this place. we thought of returning again to this place in summer to enjoy the Lake and fishing.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with things. My only suggestion would be to add a better rail on the stairs. They were a little steep and dangerous for children. Overall a wonder stay and we hope to come back!

Met Expectations!

Booked this adorable rustic cabin for my bachelorette party to have a nice chill relaxing time! Keri was great. She provided her phone number if we needed anything and responded right away. We were wondering about fire wood and where to get some and she had I believe her husband come over with some and helped us get our fire started. It is in a secluded location but also really close to some beaches where you go drive at spend the afternoon at. Also, the cabin was super clean and met all my expectations! Would stay here again for a girls trip.

The property was amazing. Like New, clean, very well maintained and designed. The hosts were great. One issue that came up was immediatly resolve. In fact they personally came to the property to ensure everything was OK and to offer compensation for the inconvenience. We had a great week and created life long memories. Beatiful property - good location - excellent host

This cabin makes efficient and comfortable use of the space and is nicely decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped - you could cook for and feed a crowd here. We appreciated the large dining table and all the sleeping spaces. We had 7 people: myself and my husband, our 4 children (18 yo, 15 yo, 12 yo, and 10 yo) and my oldest's girlfriend. We stayed for two nights and wish it had been longer! We took advantage of the fire pit, card games, ladder ball and canoe. While there is no swimming beach at the property, the lake and dock are beautiful. The owner recommended several nearby public swimming spots and we chose Pelican Lake Beach - a 15 minute drive from the cabin, it was a very nice place to swim! We had time to relax at the cabin and play games both nights and also went to Northland Kart Kountry, Pirates' Cove mini golf and had dinner at Ernie's. This cabin is 15- 20 minutes from anything you might want to do - close enough to be convenient, but far enough to be secluded and peaceful. Finally, the owner was so welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, a tornado went through a week before our stay and there were a lot of trees down. She let us know what to expect before we got there and was very available for any issues we might have - even offered to build a campfire for us Although it was sad to see the tree damage, this place is still very beautiful and the owner and her family took good care of us! We will be back.

Quiet space in the woods

We love this cabin! It is beautiful, close to a lake and the Paul Bunyan trail, and hidden in the woods if you want some quiet. This is our second time staying here and we can't wait to come back.
