'This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy and convenient which doesn’t always happen with motels which have been updated. The walls are paper thin, so if you are a person that needs quiet I would say this is not the place for you. The bathroom was clean but the tub was not updated(think pink). This meant a nice big tub even if it was pink from another...

'Simply delightful! Has everything you would need with beautiful views and amenities. I had to look a few times for “check-in and out” rules and procedures-abd couldn’t find any. I think common sense tells a person to treat the property as if it was your own….and have a wonderful time! Such a nice person to deal with. If this place is available for your time away-I would highly recommend to grab it-you won’t be disappointed!!!!'

'Cute, clean, quiet and comfortable home. We enjoyed the hot tub, walking to the nearby bar/restaurant and snuggling in to watch a movie while it lightly snowed outside. We would stay here again!'

'This was our second stay at The Cabin. Everything is as shown in the listing. Actually, the patio chairs are now Adirondack type. The owners are accommodating and make the rental process easy. There was a strong winter storm during our visit, but we still made use of the patio and fire pit after some shoveling. We look forward to coming back again when the lake is not frozen and we can use the pontoon and screened back porch.'

'An easy drive from the Twin Cities, this was a perfect couples getaway! We enjoyed this sunny cabin’s wraparound windows facing the lake and three season porch. We fired up the cozy wood burning stove almost every day. Plus we like to cook and this kitchen was well laid out and had all the basics we needed to make some fantastic meals. The owner and property manager were super responsive and helpful.'

Lake O'Brien is a quiet, peaceful lake without the water traffic on the Whitefish Chain. If you are considering renting this cabin, I would not hesitate as everything is as advertised and the owners are wonderful. 'The cabin is cozy and adorable. Close to the lake which is beautiful. The furniture, while old fashioned, was extremely comfortable. We spent a ton of time relaxing on the red couch! Had a few minor issues. The chain in the toilet kept coming loose, causing issues with flushing, and the water pressure in the sink and shower were near nothing. We loved the ability to sleep all of us with the use of pull out couches and an air mattress, having 3 full bathrooms was a huge plus and the decor was perfect for the location. 'Stayed 3 nights. Enjoyed the birds, seeing the work of the beavers, took the canoe out. Read books sitting on the dock. The lake is small, private and quiet.
