« The front desk clerk greeted us warmly and was helpful. Check in was quick. The room was clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. For a motel we were surprised how quiet it was. No noise from traffic or other rooms. No blow dryer which was not an issue just something to note. Bring your own. Breakfast was pastries, bagels, make your own waffle, cereal, fruit, yogurt. Oatmeal packets. Enough to get the day started. If we needed to stay in Athens again we would stay here again. »

« We stayed here because the resort looked beautiful and it was... the decor and style was amazing! Beautifully done. Unfortunately, I should have gotten the clue when we walked into the room and laying on the bedside was a white noise machine and ear plugs. Not only could we hear the trains - but we could hear our neighbors on either side fully!! Their convos and their music, they weren't loud there was just no sound barrier whatsoever in between the rooms. Until this is fixed I do not...

« At one time, I believed Holiday was a safe choice for a night's stay, but not any more. They are no better than lower value stay chains. We made a concerted effort to stay at this hotel because it had a pool. However, the open was not open. Look, you are in Georgia and the weather has been above 70 and reaching low 80s for 10 days. Also after finding a liquor bottle at the corner of our bed when checking out, I doubt the sheets were changed before our stay. »

« This hotel is beautiful. However if you’re going to run a contactless business you should find a better route to conflict resolution than calling your guests and accusing them of smoking pot in your rooms. I was headed to dinner for Valentines Day when someone called, representing the hotel, and said a strong smell of marijuanna was reported coming from my room. The only person on the premises we encountered was a cleaning lady so I assume it was her who reported us. Suffice to say; neither of...

« We arrived at Country Inn and for 2nights were please in general, by the beautiful hall! Sadly, no machine for beverages worked, on top of that, AT the reception fridge for them neither,coke warm, needed to go get the Ice , not fun, and We needed corkscrew for our wine, réception had none! Juste the small things! :-( the pool was warm, very tiny spa also but not hot enough and they opened Doors to let humidity out, brrrrr....please get a good ventilation for this hôtel, IT will help! « No complimentary coffee in the lobby! That was a disappointment. No one uses the in room coffee maker after seeing how gross they can be. Not particularly this hotel but generally most coffee makers. »
