'Instagram-able back lwn with colored chairs overlooking the bay. We saw seals and birds huntings for fish. The rooms smelled a little of bleach from cleaning, which I actually like. Everything was white, white walls, white floor, white bedsheets, and all of it was immaculate. If I were to go again, I would wish there was a mat for the shoes or I would bring slippers, because the parking lot is gravel and seemed to pick up dirt on the bottom of your shoes, and then it would disperse effortlessly...

'Moder, clean rooms w/jacuzzi tub and private outdoor deck. In floor heating; no noisy AC unit. Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly). Host provided outside movie and got a fire going. Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas. Friendly staff who want to help. Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular.'

'This place was an absolute gem - I almost don't want to advertise it too much lest the word get out. The room was lovely and comfortable and the view was stunning. Jenner is a small town and Madeira House is right in the middle of it. My only regret is not staying longer and getting to enjoy the magical garden on site. We will be back!'

'We loved staying here! My girlfriend and I stayed here on New Year's Eve and had a great stay. The inn is quaint and quiet, which made for a really pleasant way to ring in the new year. The room we had was very comfortable and unique. We drank wine at the wine bar in the lobby for most of our evening, and sat by the fireplace in our room for the rest of the time. Breakfast in the morning was really tasty as well, with a lot of different options. We would highly recommend this place to anyone...

'Cozy place to rest and enjoy the nature at the same time. The hotel is in front of the river which makes you have a beautiful view always. The free breakfast is really good! In addition, the restaurant of the hotel has an amazing chef whom makes all the food delicious.The German couple made this place magical. Totally recommend! '

'Boutique little hotel with lots of history and character. Quiet and great location about 10-15 min from multiple beaches. Across the street is a fantastic bakery with good coffee as well as a little general store with a decent amount of snacks, wine, beer beach toys and other odds and ends. Easiest checking in and checking out. It’s not the most luxurious or fancy, not a ton of amenities. Felt very clean and well taken care of. I would 100% be happy staying there again, because I’m a...
