Welcome to Lucy's Mountain Retreat!

This cozy log style cabin is the right mix of rustic charm with modern conveniences. With 2 bedrooms, 1 newly remodeled bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, dining room, large living room with a 42' LED TV, two fireplaces, and large backyard deck, this is the perfect cabin for a get away with family or close friends. Being on the same street and one block away from the popular Holloways Marina, makes it a great location for those visiting the lake in the summer time with boats, personal water craft, canoes, kayaks and other water sports. The driveway is extra long to allow for boat parking. In the winter time, the cabin is located less than 2 miles from Snow Summit, Southern California's best Ski Resort. Approximately 1/2 mile from the Alpine Slide and snow park. Once you arrive at Lucy's Mountain Retreat, you won't want to leave!

Nice Cabin Stay
My family enjoyed being staying in the cabin, for the most part, everything was as stated on the online listing, nothing really exciting if you're looking for excitement, but it's a nice, quiet, chill cabin. Owner communicated immediately which was really good. I'd recommend it 100%

Short Getaway to Big Bear
This was a short getaway for us to see the snow. The cabin was decently clean. The beds were not very comfortable and there unfortunately was not anything super welcoming as a guest. The draft that existed because of the front door gap was tough. We liked the location and that it was kid friendly. Knowing what we know now we would stay again but know it is very much a no frills no fuss stay.

Great little cabin
This is our second time staying here, and I’m sure we’ll be back! My kids love the bunk bed room and the sledding hill in the backyard. Really cute little cabin, great location, perfect for a weekend getaway!

This cabin is clean, cozy, and well-stocked
The pictures give a very accurate portrayal of the cabin and I was not disappointed. The utilities are all modern and work well, it was very clean, and the furniture was quality cabin grade, not cheap stuff. There has been recent remodeling work done. Well-stocked, fast internet, and the kitchen has everything you could reasonably expect to get cooking. Plenty of movies, books, games, and toys on hand. No reason to be bored even if the internet went out. The heater works so well you'll end up setting it lower than you expect, so no issues getting cozy in the winter. The neighborhood was quiet, and the village is just down the road a few minutes. The spa was warm and ready to go, and works great. It's small, however, so count on fitting 2 adults comfortably. Overall I was quite pleased and I will try to get this cabin again when I return.

Disappointing stay :(
There were so many good things about this sweet cabin, I wanted to love it but was super disappointed. When we went to check in the keypad did not work, when I called the host he told me he had not yet reset it and quickly reset it for me. Once we entered the house we realized it had not been cleaned from the previous stay. I called the owner and he told me someone would be there shortly. We had already driven 4 hours to be there and stopped for lunch and groceries so we had no where to go. We figured it would be quick and suited our kids up to play outside in the snow. We were able to enter the house about 3 hours after check in. It had started snowing and my kids were freezing cold. Once we got inside my family loved all the games and cozy atmosphere. Overall I would stay away from this property. Although the cabin was very nice, I feel the owner did not care about the huge inconvenience he caused for my family. Find a property where they respect their guests.

Very cozy!
Such a cute cabin in a great location. The living room is very cozy and the kitchen has everything we needed to cook meals. The host was quick to respond to any messages and the space was very clean. The only thing I would change would be the beds. The mattress in the master sags into the middle and all the beds were very squeaky whenever anyone moved. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Weekend getaway
Loved our stay. It was cold when we finally arrived and it was so nice to enter and have the cabin nice and cozy with the heater running. It had all the amenities we needed except for tree and lights. We brought lights and decorated. :)

Great, relaxing place for 5 adults to stay
This was a great cabin for our 4th of July getaway. The kitchen is well-stocked with gear (including spices). Very comfortable seating in the living room and the cabin stayed cool without AC despite highs in the 80s. The bathroom was short a few towels when we arrived, but Steve and the housekeepers resolved this by the evening of our arrival day. A short walk to a great viewpoint for the fireworks show. We loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evening (probably best for up to 2 people at a time).
