LOCATION - This northernmost oceanfront home in Bethany Beach literally sits on the sand with the beach at your door and 2800 preserved acres of oceanfront and dunes to the north. Tucked away on one of the most tranquil and scenic spots along the mid-Atlantic with a wide sandy beach and natural, preserved setting, this unique beach home offers the opportunity to truly relax and immerse yourself in the beach experience 24/7 while on vacation.

FIVE PORCHES/DECKS & ENDLESS VIEWS - Beach views, ocean views, Delaware State Seashore views, Indian River Bay views, and views of a WWII coastal defense tower... Watch your family play on the beach just outside, have dinner oceanfront on the screened porch or take in a sunrise over the Atlantic while watching the dolphins (and occasional whale) swim and the fishermen at the State Seashore reel in their first catch of the day - all without leaving your house!

DIRECT OCEANFRONT - You can't get closer than this! Step off your deck and onto the private beach...No dragging chairs, coolers or kids for blocks or even over a dune crossing and no worries about finding a bathroom, packing up for lunch, or what to do with bored kids who want to go back to the house.

IDEAL LAYOUT INCLUDING TWO OCEANFRONT BEDROOMS EACH WITH THEIR OWN PRIVATE DECK - A spiral staircase leads to two oceanfront bedrooms letting you enjoy miles of unobstructed ocean and dune views with the sounds of surf crashing just outside your door. A great layout for families or two couples since each enjoys their own oceanfront room with beachfront deck or porch and separate bathrooms. The third bedroom is ideal for adults or kids with two additional double beds and the third floor loft offers extra living or sleeping space with a queen American Leather sleeper sofa. The queen sleeper/sectional sofa on the first floor provides additional sleeping options if needed.

ACTIVITIES - Beach and Delaware Seashore State Park just outside your door offering swimming, fishing, jogging and biking, kayaking and surfing plus beach volleyball at our oceanfront community court, private tennis courts, large playground, and a private gazebo. Some of the area's best biking and hiking trails and nature centers (Bethany Nature Center, James Farm, Bethany Lifesaving Center). Fantastic seafood restaurant right in the community with a great happy hour and even a walk up window for those nights when you don't feel like cooking! And don't forget to grab a snowcone as the Jeep rolls down Ocean Road in the late afternoon...

You can get a full beach day on check-in/check-out dates if you utilize the Delaware State Seashore South Inlet Day Area which is on the ocean 1 mile north of our house and includes a large parking area and facilities including changing rooms, snack bar and a guarded beach (www.destateparks.com/park/delaware-seashore).
