'Let me start from the time we tried get in to the room. The door is stuck and it’s difficult to open. We tried to open the closet and I thought it is gonna fall on my kids because it is so old and with squeaky noise. The shower door is laughable. 'We have always enjoyed staying. However, this visit the pool on the boardwalk wasn't cleaned while we were there to the point of not wanting to get in. However, the pool by the restaurant/bar was. Disappointing because we enjoy looking out at the beach. Called multiple times and no one bothered to clean it. Also, had issues with guests smoking in the hotel and being very loud well into the night.'

'The hotel and rooms were always kept clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The private beach (on the bayside) was kept very nice and has lounge chairs set up as well.
