'Historic Hideaway was perfect stay while we were in town for a wedding. It is definitely a historic house. We loved it. The bedding was nice and the mattresses in all the rooms appeared newish and were very comfortable. It has large common spaces to gather and visit or watch tv. We did not cook, but the kitchen seemed well-appointed and having coffee and tea available was nice. And an electric corkscrew - who could ask for more!Because it is an old house it has short ceilings and door frames...

'You might edit this…HavenMy family, all six of us, traveled out to attend services for a beloved family member we lost unexpectedly. I found this home and it was such a beautiful and special place for us to be together as a home away from home versus a hotel.It’s in a setting of woods, dirt road, cicadas and frogs serenading us. The house is old, history, and each room has a theme, loved the old wood floors. This house really was so wonderful to come back to and enjoy both inside and outside....
