'If you are looking for a restful stay in the suburbs of New York, this is an ideal place. The historic cottage has been beautifully updated with modern amenities and tasteful decoration. Just waking up in the morning and looking out at the fields is pure joy. The pool and sauna provide wonderful refreshment when you decide it's time to move from your sofa or outdoor chair. And, of course, Pound Ridge, New Canaan and Ridgefield are all nearby should you feel the need to wander. Our hosts couldn't...

'Lovely place, convenient to New York trains and Westchester locations.'

'We had a great time. Plenty of space for four couples.'

'This is a wonderful oasis tucked into the quiet and peaceful woods in Pound Ridge. So quiet and seemingly remote and yet minutes from excellent restaurants and shopping.'

'Our family from four different states was looking for a place welcoming to adults and children (over 10 years old). This property was perfect for us. The house was clean but also feels lived-in, which helped us be more comfortable using all of the rooms and the spacious kitchen. There were nooks and crannies for privacy. The kids enjoyed the yard, the adults enjoyed walking the grounds. We even had a star gazing night and got to see Comet Lemmon! '

'Wow, this hotel is cool but it’s literally a labyrinth. When the check-in staff ask if you need an elevator, say yes. This place is a confusing and frustrating maze, with QR code maps that in theory would work if you have cell service or WiFi to get their site to load. Room was nice, and grounds were beautiful. Parking was terrible. Great location right across from Lindhurst Mansion and close to Sleepy Hollow. Unless I could guarantee a room close to the entrance or elevator I would not...

'Great location, comfortable room, friendly staff!'

'Very comfortable!'

'👍'

'Second stay. Furniture etc a little worn since last stay, which was shortly after it opened. Everything was clean. Bed comfortable. We did not eat in the restaurant. Would stay again.'

'We liked being at the end of the hallway very close to the doors outside'

'Good location to Tarrytown and NY Thruway'

'The property isn't that bad, but the rooms, or at least the one I had, had a terrible smell in the blankets and the carpet. The first girl who checked me in wasn't friendly at all, although I must admit that the girl who checked me out was the complete opposite, the breakfast was okay.. But I think they need to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms'
