Our kids loved the kayaks and the sandbar near the island gives a great place to enjoy the water. Fishing was great! Great communication with owner, they are very sweet and helpful. « Instantly we all fell in love with the place, instantly we all felt like it was home. Everything was amazing! « The lake holds wonderful memories for me. This property was close to the place I spent all my summers from 1 year old until I graduated from high school. After that I sometimes returned with my family but until this week I hadn’t been there in about 45 years. The place is SO peaceful. As a young person they would have fun with water sports, swimming and fishing. »

« This house was perfect for us. So clean and welcoming! The products they had here were very nice as well! It was really nice that we were able to cook while being away for a weekend and not having to eat out all the time. They had everything there to use like a normal house. They even had games, toys, and some books for the littles. Very, very, clean and neat! If your wanting to stay in Wadena, we definitely recommend this place! »

« Summary: Great property, owner easy to work with, great location. Group of 3 adults and a 5yo - stayed for a week, highly recommend! This sweet little lake cabin has spectacular views of Osakis Lake from the porch/back room. The foot print may be small, but they've made the most of the space and the layout is great for a small family or group. Just a few steps down to the dock and convenient to public beach access just up the street. The other direction up the street is a fantastic playground...

« This cabin is wonderfully located just feet from the lake and a perfect location for fishing at the head of the lake!! We enjoyed one full day of just playing all the games in the cabin. We appreciated cooking with all the pots and pans and other kitchen utensils provided. The best part was the wood burning fireplace. We will be back for our annual tradition of fishing on Lake osakis for New Year’s! »
