Kies je hotel in Tissamaharama

'The tents are a bit old, but OK. The camp looks super nice in the evening, the have petroleum lights everywhere and a fire. Staff always tries to help you and the food is really good. One big downside. There is a hotel next to the camp. During the safari they arranged for us we had a great guide and spotted two leopards! They play very loud music whenever they want. Our last night from 23:30 untill 05:00, so we hardly could sleep. I called the manager but he could not stop the music...'

' Absolutely amazing hotel! The rooms are clean and big. A great pool and you are very close to Yala national park. However the chef Pradeep was absolutely the highlight of our stay. The food he served was also good. Since we are not from Sri Lanka he took the time to explain what he uses, and how they look. Het also gave great recommendations. But the staff was also very nice, very helpful. Even the Peacock that resides was nice!'

'Wij hadden dit hotel in “Tissa” gekozen, als tussenstop van Ella naar Galle, om van daaruit Yala te bezoeken (Bundala is ook mogelijk). Het hotel is niks op aan te merken, en als er iets is, wordt het gelijk geregeld. Tissamaharama is verder niet zo boeiend, dus blijf hier vooral niet te lang hangen. Tip: doe een boottocht over Tissa Wewa (2,5-3k Rs), heel veel mooie vogels en kans op een krokodil(letje). '

'Lovely (gated), boutique hotel in Tissamaharama with fantastic view on the lake. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Whenever possible, dinner's served in the garden with ample privacy per table. Nice touch is that every menu is served with a light and that they try to keep mosquitoes away in an organic way. They're quite flexible in arranging breakfast in case of an early safari. Entrance to Yala national park is a 20-30 minutes ride. Pool's excellent and internet functions...

'Absolutely beautiful property. Right on the beach with easy access. Hanuman langur monkeys were right outside the room. They were so cute! Room had poor lighting, but everything else was perfect! Hotel next door has a superb buffet- best i have ever eaten in terms of variety! Access road was bad and there was no place for our driver to stay so he had to find his own lodging.'

'We spend two days in the resort. The arrival was easy and we received a heartfelt greeting. The room was very clean and we had a wonderfull view in the surrouning nature. The pool was as well Good organized and clean with a beautiful view. The breakfast and Dinner was amazing. You can chose between different meals which were prepared with local fruits vegetables and meat or fish. We like it that they Support the local Provider. 'Wij verbleven 2 nachten in Kithala Resort. Ik vond de locatie en uitzicht vanaf onze kamer erg mooi. Uitzicht over het zwembad met daarachter een graanveld waar veel verschillende dieren (vooral vogels) zichtbaar waren. Een lekkere plek om uit te rusten na een bezoek aan Yala NP. '
