'Typical chain hotel with casino. The thermal springs were really good but lack a coffee shop. Restaurants fair but not great. Good Gardens but nowhere to sit. Good value for money.'

'Good location, friendly people, clean rooms.'

'A short but very sweet stopover for us at this lodge. The staff are beyond excellent and offered great service, activities and fabulous food. So glad we stayed and suggest you do too.'

'Awesome'

'Very nice spot with a nice view. Rooms are very clean and in good shape. The owners are very nice and flexibel. Only remark that the pool wasn’t clean at all and the restaurant was temporary closed. If this is open it is a perfect Place to stay. '

'The staff was the sweetest! They really took care of us. Nice rooms, fun tracks to go with bike, lots of space for the kids, overall we had a great time ! '

'Pre-check in comms and answering cell number after arrival were very poorly handled. Would have been better to be able to chat to someone to get the details from a human than just a board at reception when we arrived. '

'Har kan du verkligen slappna av i fantastiska omgivningar. Personalen är så vänliga. Ägarna fantastiska. Detaljerna är helt underbara och det finns friska blommor överallt inne. Kan varmt rekommendera att äta den gemensamma middagen på långbordet. Träffa andra gäster och dela erfarenheter. Mycket god mat av hög kvalité. Fantastisk frukost upplägg. '

'Such a nice host! Very cozy and cute place😊'

'We had a fantastic stay. The design of the cottages are stunning, the surrounding nature is breath-taking! It is perfect for families who want to get away from the noise and rush of the city. '

'Not lucky with the weather, but enjoyed the time possible'

'We stayed in Hoopoe Cottage. While I appreciate that Barton is under new ownership, our experience was disappointing. Before we even arrived, our booking had been incorrectly recorded for the wrong day (fortunately my husband phoned to confirm). We'd also arranged an early bag drop (no issue there) and were told the hot tub would be lit before our return from the Overberg Explorer. When we got back, there was no cot despite confirming one and the hot tub was ice cold because the fire had gone...

'Good stay, beautiful apartment '
