'The hotel is lovely with a small gym. The major problem is the parking. The hotel seems to provide more access than spaces. this meant that on a few occasions and both nights there was no parking. We were able to find street parking during the day, but at night there is a problem. In the end the person on duty stack parked the car and we had to leave our key with them.'

'I had a very good stay. The only thing I can come up with in the negative is that my fridge was broken. I was promised to have it fixed. But nobody came and there was no follow upon it. Other than that it was a very good stay! '

'Accommodation comfort and location was perfect. The small cafe behind the reception was somewhat a mystery, but the following day was displayed a 'for lease' sign. Thankfully other locations next door. OAKS is a wonderful concept, and our first choice as we travel through Australia. Currently staying at Oaks on Charlotte in Brisbane. FANTASTIC!!!!'

'Ontbijt was prima maar de hotelkamer kon schoner. Er lagen nog kruimels op de grond van waarschijnlijk de vorige gasten. Verder oogde de badkamer ook niet schoon en zaten er vliegen in de douche cabine. De bedden waren verder prima en het personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.'

'Bij aankomst waren er wat problemen over de parkeerplaats die we, 2 weken er voor gereserveerd hadden, maar toen we dreigde de auto voor de ingang van de garage te laten staan kregen we als nog onze plaats. Verder was alles prima in orde. Alles was schoon, netjes en alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden. De tramhalte voor de deur was een extraatje. 2 slaapkamers met 3 personen was ook fijn. Volgende keer als we in Australië zijn gaan we beslist er voor wat langere tijd heen.'

'Good location, central to everything in the city. Step out into Hardware lane with gorgeous cafes and restaurants. Beds were ver comfortably. We stayed in a two-bed apartment. Rooms are very tight, no space to open a suitcase, and not much more space in the living area. Suits a short stay for that reason only. Cupboards in both rooms if you’re staying a little longer. '

'Needs updating in some areas although having stayed several times we can see improvements. Barest provisions so take milk, snacks, wine etc for yourself. Could be slightly more generous with towels too. Shower lovely! Be aware rooms have a step up to the bathroom area. Bed very clean and comfortable , lovely blanket provided on beds much appreciated last night with the cold weather. '

'Good property to stay at. Everything around the area is great, but they need to work on their cleanliness. Wasn’t really happy with the hygiene level of the room. The bathroom was dirty seemed like it wasn’t cleaned properly. '

'Conveniently located, only a short walk to Southern Cross station and there is a tram stop right at the front doors. The apartment was well equipped, with a washer and dryer and fully equipped kitchen, great for if you don’t want to eat out and are staying a while and need to do laundry. Only down side was the bed was quite uncomfortable, pillows were thin feather style and an older spring mattress that was quite firm. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again when visiting Melbourne.'
